Amazing food!!!! Big portions!!!

Came here after a first and last experience with a wagamama delivery.

The kokoro delivery came and wow, the katsou chicken and rice bowl was amazing!
Large tub of curry sauce, lots of rice and plenty of chicken.

Genuinely cant fault it. Super happy and will definitely be ordering again having to visit Croydon with work on a regular basis.

Really friendly service at 9pm on a Thursday night (for takeaway). Food was tasty with still quite a good selection left to choose from. Not cheap but not too expensive either. Medium tubs were about £9 (rice/noodle + main) or £10 for Large. Large is huge, can have leftovers! I had the spicy chicken which wasn't too spicy. Chicken had a nice crunch to it. Have also tried before and would recommend their sushi.

I am a frequent customer for years. I prefer to order delivery instead of eating in I as you get larger portions! The hot dishes are not all good, only chickens are fine, please avoid pork and tofu and noodle, they are disgusting in quality aspect. I recommend katsu chicken and sweet chilly chicken, those two would never gone wrong. If you order around lunch hours, you get them fresh and hot. I never tried the sushi so don’t know about these. But the dessert and drinks are way more expensive than buying in chinese or japanese shops.

Absolutely disgusting I have found a fried bug in my food? Cannot believe this and I am very disappointed. Not coming again. My picture isn't taken very well but believe me when I tell you, that the black dot is a real bug.

Ordered katsu chicken and noodles which was delivered as a take away. The chicken was so overcooked it was rock hard couldn’t it. Chewing was almost impossible. Sauce very salty too. Big portions but couldn’t eat most of it. So overdone was inedible.

The Katsu Curry was really nice but I was disappointed to learn they don’t take cash and they seem to have trouble with Monzo and Revolut cards too. I had to get my friend to pay and give them the money back.

Luckily I was with a friend or I wouldn’t have been able to get my food!

Please be careful!! Usually love kokoro so had the sweet garlic chicken on monday evening - a few hours later I started feeling severely unwell & now on Wednesday I am still ill and believe I got food poisoning. Clearly hygiene and food safety is not up to par and could be incredibly dangerous.

Edit: I appreciate the response from the business, however my boyfriend & I had been together the whole weekend from Friday afternoon to Monday evening. In this time, we had been cooking & eating the same meals. The only meal we had different things was our order from Kokoro, he had tofu & I had chicken. I got sick but he did not. This means the only food I can put it down to is this meal from Kokoro. I have had the sweet garlic chicken before as well & it didn’t make me sick the first time, meaning I was not intolerant or allergic to anything in it. It definitely had to be food poisoning sadly.
