Okay WOW WOW WOW y’all need to check this place out! Literally the best shaved ice I’ve ever had in my LIFE. My sisters and I got the ichigo matcha shaved ice and it was AMAZING!!! So refreshing, fresh, and delicious. I cannot recommend enough!!!

There’s street parking around Koko and there’s a parking lot right across. They also provided water and water cups since it was pretty hot out, which was nice!

Support this place because to find this dessert in the US is not easy. This is a traditional Japanese shaved ice dessert and it is identical to what you would get in Japan. I would argue this experience was better than what I had in Japan in 2023 because here we got to select our containers from a display of unique hand crafted bowls. If you are looking for an authentic Japanese dessert experience that is also delicious and unique, then you must try Koko Kakigori!

Went with friends for an after dinner dessert. Honestly, the best shaved ice I've ever had. We got the strawberry matcha, and the strawberry syrup tasted so fresh! I'd say one shaved ice is good for 2-3 people, but they're light, so you could probably eat one by yourself. For the price, definitely worth it.

I really love how they let you pick your own bowl too! Really nice touch.

I got the matcha shaved ice and it was super tasty and refreshing! However, there is no indoor seating, so the shaved ice melts very quickly. The prices are pretty expensive (~$15) so i don’t think ill be coming here again.

Cute place with delicious shaved ice! We ordered the black sesame coconut and it included a jelly and banana filling inside. It had a refreshing, subtle sweetness, not overly sugary like a regular snow cone.

The atmosphere was nice with the outdoor seating, the staff were very friendly as well.

Never in my life have I had shaved ice this amazing!! Koko Kakigori is an absolute gem of a dessert shop - they specialize in Japanese shaved ice and they take this whole idea to the extreme! Throw aside other places that have a flavored shaved ice and maybe just add a syrup or fruit on top…Koko Kakigori will use their own homemade kakigori sauces using 100% natural ingredients, they will layer things like mochi, fruit, and cake INSIDE the shaved ice (not just on top) as well as the sauce all throughout the ice! From the apple berry chai to the tangerine cream, and everything in between, this place has by far the best shaved ice dessert I have ever tasted, and I know you will love it too.

Be sure to check their Instagram to see what desserts they have next, and do keep in mind they’re only open on weekends (Friday to Sunday) normally! Don’t miss out and try this place ASAP! ?

Such a cute shop for some a delish sweet treat! I also adore the interactive option to choose your dish. We ordered 2 different flavors and enjoyed every second of it. They were considerate enough to bring one at a time allowing us to enjoy and finish each dish. Definitely a must try!
