Fishing trip of a lifetime!! Chris & Corey were amazing at putting us on fish and hooking up rain or shine. We’re booking again in March to have another wonderful fishing experience. We took some of our fresh catch to Bad Boy Taqueria and Tequila and they laid out an amazing spread. Our experience was nothing short of phenomenal. Thank you Chris and Corey for everything you guys rock.

Wow! KoKo Fishing Charters was by far our favorite excursion during our entire trip to Key West! First off, the owner and Captain, Chris, was phenomenal to work with. From scheduling our charter on a great weather day to fish, to expertly navigating our boat through the waters, he was truly top-notch. We opted for the 10-hour fishing charter and don't regret it one bit! The first mate, Corey, kept us laughing the entire time and was incredibly knowledgeable about the waters, fishing, Key West, and music. His passion for fishing and his job was evident in everything he did.

Our fishing party of two caught an impressive total of 19 mahi mahi, and in the final hour, we landed a good-sized Wahoo! We were ecstatic with our catches and left on an incredible high. Upon returning to the dock, Corey filleted our catch while Chris prepared some fresh Wahoo sashimi for us. It was phenomenal! Chris and Corey then assisted us in ordering fish mounts, recommended Hurricane Hole to have our fresh catch cooked for dinner, and even took our filleted fish to Finz Dive Shop the next morning to be put on dry ice and shipped to us in Texas. This extra step was especially helpful as our flight home the next morning left before Finz opened. Chris didn’t have to help us in that way, but he did anyway. That, to me, speaks volumes about his character and commitment to be the best charter available!

Captain Chris's kindness and accommodation were unparalleled compared to any other fishing charters we've been on. If you do one thing in Key West, make it a fishing trip with KoKo Charters. The experience is worth every cent, and you won't regret it!

We fished with Captain Chris and First mate Corey on 11/27/23.
We booked the trip around the full moon hoping to get a Wahoo for my son and daughter while visiting Key West. I wanted to share our personal experience with anyone thinking of booking with KOKO Charters.
1. Booking was simple and straight forward and Captain will communicate with you leading up to the trip.
2. The morning of the trip Chris and Corey were standing behind the boat fully prepared and ready for the family. The boat is EVERYTHING you want for a charter boat. It was clean open and spacious.
3. Corey was super helpful and friendly to my kids helping to answer any of thier questions and explain to them exactly what to do and when to do it the entire time. Corey has so much local knowledge growing up down in the Keys and will point out different landmarks and light houses as you pass them.
4. The fishing was great!! We trolled around and landed 3 Wahoo. We just wanted to catch our kid's thier first Wahoo and Chris put us on three of them. Corey was super helpful every step of the way making sure the two kids knew how to fight rhe fish and most importantly LAND THE FISH.
5. The trip ended with the best plate of Sashimi I have ever had in my life. Thier was Two different sauces and two different Wasabis to choose from. They cleaned the fish to perfection and than bagged them up for us to bring home. They also recommended two amazing places to bring the fish where it would be prepared for us.
THIS IS A FIRST CLASS ORGANIZATION. I have been jerked around many times in my life on numerous different boats and this surely is not that type of organization. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking to get on the water down in the keys that wants a chance to catch the fish of a lifetime.
